More About Silent Witness

Legacy

Silent Witness has over the years done a whole lot, with very little. Silent Witness has ministered on TV, in most denominations of Churches, in Music Festivals, in Concerts, in Theater, in Youth Detention Centers, in Prisons, and on the Street. Silent Witness has seen people accept Christ as Lord and Savior, re-dedicate their lives to Christ, marriages saved, people encouraged, and many other people in the altars for prayer. Silent Witness has thus far carried the Message of Christ and encouragement from Texas to North Carolina, and down to Trinidad-Tobago in the West Indies.

Our Core Beliefs

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. God exist in three persons, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit who are co-equal and are one God. He is ever present, all knowing, unchanging, and above all Holy. Genesis 1:1, Genesis 1:26-27, Genesis 3:22, Psalm 90:2, Matthew 28:19, 1 Peter 1:2, 2 Corinthians 13:14

The Father:

God, the Father created the universe and everything in it. He is a big God and at the same time He knows each of us so personally, that He knows the number of hairs on each of our heads. The Father gave His only begotten Son so we can have eternal life through Salvation in Jesus Christ. God the Father is sovereign and is in complete control of all things. He is absolute Holiness, and His Holy Word can never change. Genesis 1:31, John 3:16, Psalm 77:13

Jesus:

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus is completely human but, at the same time, completely, God. He is the only plan for Eternal Salvation and bringing human kind back into relationship with the Father. He defeated death and sin in his resurrection, we now have eternal life. Matthew 1:22-23, Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1-5.

The Holy Spirit:

The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. The Holy Spirit is present in the world today and helps mankind to be aware of their need for Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit also lives in every believer from the moment of Salvation. The Holy Spirit provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of God’s Word, and the needed guidance to do what is right according to God’s Holy Word. 2 Corinthians 3:17, John 16:7-13, John 14:16-17.

The Bible

The Bible is God’s Word to mankind. Human authors wrote the Bible under the anointing and guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Bible is inspired by God, and is therefore the complete and perfect truth relevant to our lives. 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 1:13.

Salvation:

Salvation comes only through Jesus Christ, and is available to all who will call upon the name of Jesus to save them from their sins, and to become their Lord and Savior. Salvation is a free gift to mankind, but which Jesus died and was resurrected for. John 3:16, Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9.

Baptism and Communion:

Water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is, an individual’s testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life in Christ. The Lord’s Supper is a memorial service setting forth in both sacred and symbolic manner, the death of our Lord Jesus Christ. All true believers, and only true believers, should participate in Communion. Acts 2:38, Matthew 26:26-28.
